MILOSEVIC CASE PROVED GROUNDLESS BY ICJ
DECISION - SOCIALIST PARTY OF SERBIA
BBC Monitoring International Reports - February 26, 2007, Monday
Text of report by Belgrade-based B-92 TV on 26 February
[Presenter] The SPS [Socialist Party of Serbia] chairman Ivica Dacic has said
that the [International Court of Justice] decision [that Serbia is not guilty of
genocide] is of crucial importance for the state and the people, but also for
the SPS, which was in power during the war in Bosnia, because the decision makes
stories about the command responsibility of Serbia and Yugoslavia groundless, as
well as the Hague trial against [former Serbian President] Slobodan Milosevic
and all other trials based on command responsibility.
