THE HAGUE -- Wednesday – British High Court judge Lord Bonomy has been named to the bench of the Hague Tribunal.

He is to replace English judge Richard May who has retired because of ill health.

Bonomy will join the other two judges who have been hearing the case for more than two years.

He will have to catch up on more than thirty thousand pages of evidence and the testimony of almost three hundred witnesses.

The trial is at present in recess until May (sic) to allow Milosevic time to prepare his defence, which he is presenting himself.
