Milosevic “not supporting anyone”

BELGRADE -- Friday – Socialist Party leader Slobodan Milosevic has not put his support behind any candidate in next month’s presidential election, party official Milutin Mrkonjic said today.

He told journalists that the party had not been in contact with Milosevic since the elections were called.

Mrkonjic was critical of reports claiming Milosevic’s support for candidates, saying that as president of the party all members and officials were obliged to respect his wishes.
