Milosevic case to resume tomorrow
B92 - August 16, 2005

THE HAGUE -- Tuesday – Slobodan Milosevic will continue presenting his defence case to the Hague Tribunal tomorrow after a three-week summer recess.

Defence witnesses scheduled for the rest of the week include two Kosovo Albanians who were members of local village defence forces during 1999.  They will give evidence about crimes committed by the Kosovo Liberation Army against Albanians it believed were loyal to the Serbian authorities.

They will be followed by the long-anticipated testimony of Serbian Radical Party leader Vojislav Seselj, himself in custody in The Hague awaiting trial.  Milosevic has frequently complained in court that he has been prevented from adequately preparing this witness.
