Pristina, 24 August: The Pristina-based Radio-Television Kosovo (RTK) and Radio-Television 21 (RTV 21) have been threatened with attacks if they do not stop broadcasting Latin American soaps.

According to the Pristina-based daily Epoka e Re, a letter sent on behalf of all Muslim believers warned the stations that they had to end broadcasts of Kloni and For you soaps within five days. Otherwise, we will attack RTV 21 and RTK buildings without any warning, the letter said.

Saban Tasoli, a Kosovo police spokesman, said that the police had been informed about the letter. The investigative unit is working on the case but we still do not know who is behind the threats, he said.
