Orthodox Christmas in Serbia

BELGRADE -- Wednesday – Hundreds attended the Christmas liturgy last night in the Cathedral Church in Belgrade.

In his Christmas message, read to the packed Church, the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Pavle, commended younger generations for “showing seriousness and responsibility towards God, towards one another, and towards the world that we live in.”

Serbian Orthodox Christians celebrate Christmas on January 7.
