British SFOR troops storm Republica Srpska Parliament

BANJA LUKA -- Friday – SFOR troops today stormed a section of the Republica Srpska Parliament building, but did not enter the Speaker’s chambers.

The SFOR troops stormed the section of the building that houses the RS Army offices, and also raided RS Army Headquarters in the Rajko Balac army barracks in Banja Luka.

Beta has received confirmation that the SFOR soldiers have not entered the chambers of the parliamentary speaker, nor other parliament rooms.

British forces are carrying out the action, although they declined to confirm whether or not the operation is linked to today’s action by international forces in Serb Sarajevo.
