BELGRADE -- Wednesday – The latest survey on Serbia’s presidential election next month puts Radical Party candidate Tomislav Nikolic well ahead, with 31.3 per cent of respondents saying they will vote for him.

Democratic Party leader Boris Tadic has dropped well behind to 19.3 per cent.

Government coalition candidate Dragan Marsicanin is on 18.4 per cent with political newcomer, business magnate Bogoljub Karic being the choice of 9.5 per cent.

More than half – 53.5 per cent – of respondents say they will cast a vote, 31.3 per cent say they won’t and 15.2 per cent are undecided.

Pollster Marten Board International predicts that there will be no clear winner in the first round and that a run-off election between the two leading candidates from the first round is certain.
