Kosovo president's close associate heavily injured in planted car bomb incident

Ramiz Murici, activist of the Democratic League of Kosovo and a close associate of Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova, has been heavily injured in a car explosion in Pec.

UNMIK UN Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo has stated that the planted explosive device was activated when the car door was opened. This is the third assassination attempt against Murici.
