[Presenter] A coach carrying around 40 [Serbian] Orthodox [Church] believers who
visited a cemetery in Djakovica has been stoned in the town centre, Caglavica-based
KiM [Kosovo-Metohija] Radio has reported. Displaced Serbs from Djakovica were
visiting the Orthodox cemetery on the outskirts of this Metohija town on All
Souls Day.
The majority of tombstones overturned in the past period have been restored. A
fence was put up around the cemetery and the trees in the cemetery were felled.
The first time the coach entered [as heard, sentence incomplete], the [ethnic]
Albanians, predominantly young people, hurled stones at those who entered the
cemetery, cursing and shouting: Criminals. The coach, escorted by Ukrainian
UNMIK [UN Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo] police and the Kosovo Police
Service [KPS] then left the scene of the attack.
