MACEDONIAN DAILY CITES SECURITY SOURCES ON REBEL PRESENCE IN TETOVO AREA

Security sources claim that three ANA Albanian National Army - AKSh in Albanian members also attended a protest for the release of imprisoned ONA National Liberation Army - UCK in Albanian members in Tetovo the day before yesterday 20 March . These three members were wearing new green uniforms without any badges and were among the protesting crowd all the time.

According to NATO representatives, a group of 200 to 250 people, armed with new US-made M-16 automatic rifles, is currently located in the high mountain villages. Our sources claim that the members of this paramilitary group were trained in camps in Kosovo.

We have learned that a number of members of this group are to attend a big protest rally scheduled to take place at Tetovo's city stadium in two weeks.
