Three detained in Bosnia for alleged terrorism financing

Sarajevo - Bosnia-Herzegovina's police detained Wednesday three persons in central Bosnia suspected of a variety of crimes, including finance of terrorist activities, Bosnian TV reported.

It said State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) agents detained Mounir Silini, of Tunisian origin, suspected of financing terrorist activities and forging documents.

SIPA's Spokesman Admir Katica confirmed that three persons were detained, two in Zenica and one in Zavidovici, following the order of the Bosnia-Herzegovina's State Court.

Katica also said that the homes of the suspects were searched and material including forged documents and videotapes was seized.
