Pristina, 26 January: Advisor to the UNMIK UN Interim Administration Mission in
Kosovo head Soeren Jessen-Petersen for the issues concerning return, Nenad
Radosavljevic, submitted his resignation today, because "there is neither
ethical not political reason for me to create an illusion of well-being in the
post of a high advisor, and to, without a possibility to prevent it, watch the
further cleansing of my people instead of their return".
"The confidence you and your predecessors have got from the Serbian state
bodies, Serbian Orthodox Church and people has been spent, because you have sold
authorizations, abolished responsibility, and there are no results in the sphere
of stabilization of situation for all," said the resignation which Radosavljevic
tendered to UNMIK head Soeren Jessen-Petersen.
