KOSOVO POLICE SEIZE 15 KILOS
OF HEROIN, ARREST ALBANIAN

Pristina, 11 May: Members of the Kosovo Police Service (KPS) this morning seized
15 kilos of heroin in Gnjilane and arrested one [?ethnic] Albanian in whose car
the drugs were found, KPS spokesman Refki Morina confirmed to SRNA.
Morina said that due to the investigation he was not able to reveal the identity
of the arrested Albanian.
He said that with this yet another drug smuggling chain had been severed, and
announced more information soon on this morning's operation.
The estimated street value of the confiscated drugs is about 200,000 dollars.
Kosovo is a transit point for drugs coming from Asian countries.
