Kosovo Serb council condemns attack against land tillers by group of Albanians

Gracanica, 2 July: The Serb National Council [SNV] of Kosovo-Metohija today most sharply condemned the attack against Branko and Dragan Nedeljkovic from Preoce over their refusal to stop their agricultural works in their own field.

A statement said that a number of ethnic Albanians had assaulted the Nedeljkovic brothers using sticks, inflicting serious bodily injuries upon them.

"Such an approach and behaviour towards the Serb community is absolutely unacceptable and it is aimed at moving people out of Serb villages and settlements in Kosovo-Metohija so that they become deserted," the statement specified.
