Belgrade, 6 July: The Coordination Centre for Kosovo-Metohija said today that an unexploded bomb had been found in the courtyard of a house owned by Srecko Milkic, employee of the local Coordination Centre office in Vitina.

Another bomb went off on the night between Monday and Tuesday [4-5 July], some seven to eight metres away from the house.

Milkic's family was inside the house at the time of the explosion. They are temporarily accommodated in Smederevo and they came to Vitina to spend their summer holidays in their house.

Nobody was injured in the explosion but windows on the house and the car have been broken.

A statement by the coordination centre says it is suspected that the motive behind the attack was to frighten the Milkic family, adding that Kosovo Police Service members have searched the scene.
