Belgrade, 19 September: I demand on behalf of the Serbian government that [UN
special Kosovo envoy] Martti Ahtisaari immediately take all the necessary
measures to rein in Albanian separatists' constant terrorist rampage against the
Serbs, Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said this evening in response
to an explosion in Klina in which four members of [Kosovo Serb] Pavlovic family
had been wounded.
"I am warning you that it is absolutely unacceptable that the Serbs are being
killed while Albanian separates publicly threaten violence and blackmail the
international community," Kostunica said.
"This is definitely about terrorism and terrorism before the nose of the whole
world, as separatists' only argument for independent Kosovo. The international
community must immediately stop violence or else become a co-perpetrator of
crimes against Serbs," Kostunica said.
