DO NOT LOOK FOR MLADIC WE'VE GOT HIM
Glas Javnosti - January 31, 2004

Text of letter to the editor by Simo Spasic, president of the Association of Families of Abducted and Murdered Persons of Kosovo-Metohija:

The Association of Families of Abducted and Murdered Persons of Kosovo-Metohija hereby confirms the assertion made by Carla Del Ponte (chief prosecutor of the Hague tribunal) that General Mladic is in Serbia. She is presenting her evidence with assurance, because she has received it from the Association of Families of Abducted and Murdered Persons of Kosovo-Metohija.

Carla Del Ponte has received evidence that Mladic is alive and well and protected by families of abducted and murdered civilians, soldiers and policemen in Kosovo-Metohija. The Hague tribunal is putting pressure on our association and blackmailing us to disclose the exact location where General Mladic is to be found. They have received the reply that our families are protecting Mladic on the territory of Serbia - Kosovo-Metohija. He will voluntarily go to The Hague on the following conditions:

1. Upon the immediate release of civilians, soldiers and policemen kidnapped and abducted in Kosmet (Kosovo-Metohija) in 1998-99;

2. The Hague tribunal must finally indict and arrest notorious (ethnic) Albanian criminals. There is not a single member of the police or the Gendarmerie that will storm a house and arrest Mladic when they know that living in the same house is the mother of an abducted policeman or soldier who is still in the hands of the Albanian commanders of the OVK (Kosovo Liberation Army; UCK in Albanian). For the sake of big money paid to individuals, and allegedly acting in the best interests of the people of Serbia, statesmen of Serbia and Montenegro acceded to the request of the Hague tribunal and the United States, and sold Milosevic and released 2,108 Albanian criminals without first demanding the release of abducted Serbs, Roma... (ellipsis as published)

We therefore tell the Hague tribunal and the "humane" United States, who are concerned about human rights and lives:

The Hague tribunal must arrest criminals of all nationalities who were in command, all those who are guilty of crimes against other nations.

The United States paid 1.8m dollars to the family of each victim of the terrorist attacks on residential buildings on 11 September 2002.

Does the international community know how much the families of murdered Serbs are getting for the bodies of their dead? Not a cent! Why? Are US victims 1.8m times more valuable that the Serb?

(Box) Press release: The bureau for Abducted and Missing Persons of the Coordination Centre for Kosovo-Metohija and the Association of Families of Abducted and Missing Persons of Kosovo-Metohija do not have information that Ratko Mladic is under the protection of the newly formed Association of Families of Abducted and Murdered Civilians, Soldiers and Policemen of Kosovo-Metohija, as Simo Spasic, president of the newly formed association, has announced.
