Suspects arrested in Bosnia admit to preparing
terrorist act - paper

Sarajevo, 19 November: Two persons arrested in Sarajevo on Friday [18 November]
on suspicion of terrorist connections admitted to the police that they were
preparing a terrorist attack in Bosnia-Hercegovina, [Sarajevo] Dnevni avaz daily
said on Saturday.
Citing an unnamed Bosnian official, the newspaper said the two men were Muslim
and that they had been obtaining explosive for two men previously arrested on
suspicion of terrorism, Mirsad Bektasevic and Abdulkadir Cesir.
Swedish citizen Bektasevic and Turkish citizen Cesir were arrested in Sarajevo
on 19 October. They are being investigated by the Bosnian State Prosecutor's
Office on suspicion that they planned an attack on a Western embassy in Bosnia.
According to the media, the two men arrested yesterday were also involved in
some sort of paramilitary activity around Bjelasnica and Igman mountains.
The police and the Intelligence and Security Agency are looking for other
possible members of a terrorist group.
