Pristina, 10 April: UN police in Kosovo have arrested a former ethnic Albanian guerrilla on suspicion of being one of the organisers of the violence that engulfed the province in mid-March, a UN police spokesman told Beta news agency today.

Avdulj Muskoljaji (Avdyl Mushkolaj) was arrested this afternoon in Decani in a joint operation launched by UN police and NATO-led peacekeepers, said Neeraj Singh.

Muskoljaj is president of the Metohija branch of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA, UCK in Albanian) veterans association.
