MINSK, April 3 - Belarussian parliament believes further activity of the Hague Tribunal is inexpedient.

``In connection with the death of former president of Yugoslavia Slobodan Milosevic the Belarussian National Assembly believes that further activity of the Hague Tribunal is inexpedient and demands that all the defendants held by the tribunal should be handed over to the juridical authorities of their states so that their cases be heard by national courts,'' says the statement Belarussian parliament adopted on Monday.

It says the circumstances of Milosevic's death ``need a thorough and objective international investigation.''

The MPs stressed that the Hague Tribunal is a ``politicised body, using double standards and biased in its conclusions.''

``Milosevic was not the only victim of the Hague Tribunal, and we demand that the judges who denied Milosevic medical treatment, and, actually, the right to live, should be brought to book,'' the Belarussian MPs stated.

They believe methods of destroying a multiethnic state continue being tried out on Yugoslavia's example.
