Two Kosovo Serb villages celebrate Christmas
without electricity

Announcer Over 120 households in Lipljan and some 80 in Batus in Kosovo-Metohija
are celebrating Orthodox Christmas without electricity. The Lipljan Serbs have
spent 14 days without electricity and those in Batus as many as 20 days.
The deputy mayor of the multiethnic municipality of Lipljan, Borivoje Vignjevic,
has said that talks between a delegation of Serbs and representatives of the
Kosovo Energy Corporation have failed, so that these households will remain
without electricity till further notice.
