[Announcer] Member of the Serbian negotiating team Goran Bogdanovic has said that [UN envoy] Martti Ahtisaari's statement that he did not see a possibility of finding a solution for the status of Kosovo through negotiations spoke of his personal reluctance to arrive at a solution for Kosovo through compromise:

[Bogdanovic] Such statements can only be detrimental for the future talks on Kosovo-Metohija. On the other hand, they can naturally lead to the conclusion that the international community was not honest in its intentions that a solution for Kosovo-Metohija be found through compromise and talks between Belgrade and Pristina, but that it was keen to impose a solution from the very start.

I would like to reiterate that an imposed solution cannot be good for anyone. It can be good neither for the Albanians, nor for the Serbs. Particularly not for the Serbs, because we know what the mood is in the international community and that their only goal is to grant Kosovo independence.

[Announcer] Every solution in favour of Kosovo-Metohija's independence is against Serb interests and all norms of international law, Bogdanovic concluded in his statement for Kontakt Plus Radio.
