Miljana Mitrovic, one of Carla del Ponte’s sources about the death camps in which Serb organs were harvested, maintains that Romanians, Russians, Ukrainians, Greeks, and Arabs were also mistreated.

BELGRADE - Albania is a "blue grave" not only to Serbs, and it was not only the kidnapped Serbs of Kosovo and Metohija whose organs were extracted. White slaves from Romania, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Montenegro, and Arab countries were also exploited to the end.

In a statement to Kurir, Miljana Mitrovic, who says that she was one of the sources of information to Carla del Ponte about the death camps in Albania and Kosovo, implicated the political leadership of Albania, the commanders of the KLA, and representatives from K-FOR and UNMIK, in the illegal organ trade.

Mitrovic maintains that thanks to her close ties to an influential Albanian businessman she saw the camps and learned much about the crimes, but when she spoke to Serbian authorities in 2002, nobody wanted to listen to her. What is more, she was threatened to keep silent, and she says the police were sent to interrogate and rough her up.

Albanians provided prostitutes from various countries to entertain men from UNMIK and K-FOR. When not needed any longer, they were sent to Albania for their organs to be harvested. Camps were in Kulesh, Elbasan, Fljor, Drach, and in Tirana was the "yellow house" where the organs were extracted. Our interlocutor maintains that Americans, Germans and Englishmen also took part in this.

She says that from the interned Serbs of Kosmet the healthiest males were picked out, up to age 45, and transferred to American military bases abroad, particularly to Germany and Italy. Allegedly two Serbs from Kosmet were seen at an American base in Wiesbaden. She does not know what was done with kidnapped Serbs at those bases, but there are indications that they were used in medical experiments.

Those who tried to escape ended up under the knife together with others who were led to the camps in Albania. Implicated in this are the Prime Minister of Albania, Sali Berisha and Fatos Nano, who had the blessings of Bernard Kouchner, then chief of UNMIK, now France's Minister of Foreign Affairs, otherwise a doctor by occupation. Also involved were Ramush Haradinaj and his brother Daut, Agim Ceku, Hashim Thaci, Halim Omer Osmani, Muhamed Ljuti, and Enes Elmazi -- recounts Mitrovic.

She insists that in 2001 and 2002 certain local politicians, mainly from the opposition, tried to shore up resources to find the kidnapped Serbs. Several hundred thousand deutschmarks were raised, and the money via CIA operative, lieutenant Mike Sow, was turned over to a certain Kosovo-Albanian. That Albanian learned quite a lot but was exposed and killed, says our interlocutor.

THE BOOK IS EVIDENCE AGAINST CARLA

Simo Spasic, President of the Society of Kidnapped and abducted civilians, soldiers and policemen from Kosovo says that Miljana Mitrovic told them several years earlier about her knowledge but that they could not believe it. However, Carla del Ponte’s book “The Hunt: Me and War Criminals” has them convinced that she spoke the truth.

Finally, from Italy we have received the book by del Ponte, in which there is a mention of how many Serbs were transferred to Albania, where their vital organs were extracted destined for sale throughout Europe and America. The book will be useful as evidence in a lawsuit against her because she concealed evidence during her tenure as a prosecutor in The Hague. In the meeting that we had with her in 2004 she told us that all our dearest were killed, but she kept silent about the extraction of their organs – points out Spasic. According to him del Ponte deliberately chose to publish the information after the criminals had declared Kosovo's independence.

If she only 4 or 5 years earlier had published this no country in the world would have recognized such a criminal creation. The leader of the so-called KLA would be prosecuted in the Hague on the basis of command responsibility – points out Spasic.
