identical positions on Kosovo

Belgrade - The principle
position of Russia and President Putin is that solution for Kosovo must not be
an imposed one, and no time limit should be set for the negotiations.
Russian Emergency Situations Minister Sergey K. Shoigu said this in Belgrade on
Monday, after the meeting with the Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica.
"Russia shares Belgrade's stance that the best solution for Kosovo would be
granting an essential autonomy within existing Serbian borders", Shoigu said.
Underscoring that "Serbia values highly the principled position of Russia",
Kostunica reiterated that Serbian Government's policy is based on the position
that "Kosovo is and will forever be a part of Serbia".
