Pristina: A police vehicle with four Serb policemen has been attacked and hit by several shots near the town of Doganovic on the Urosevac-Strpce road [in southern Kosovo, near the border with Macedonia]. No-one was injured in the accident.

The Kosovo Police Service's (KPS) official vehicle was returning last night from the Djeneral Jankovic border crossing.

Four KPS members of the Serbian nationality, who work at the border crossing, were in the vehicle.

The attack occurred only four kilometres from the place where two Serb youths were killed on 27 August.

According to the media, the police and Kfor [Kosovo Force] members inspected the area.
