UK-BASED INSTITUTE SAYS PAKISTAN MILITANT
GROUP PRESENT IN BOSNIA

Text of report by "D. Ra" entitled "Harkat-ul-Mojahedin also has members in
B-H" published by Bosnian Serb newspaper Nezavisne novine on 7 November
London: The Pakistani Islamic militant group called Harkat-ul-Mojahedin, which
is linked to terrorist activities in the Indian province of Jammu and Kashmir,
is also present in Bosnia-Hercegovina and has its members there.
This is stated in a report issued by the London-based International Institute
for Strategic Studies. The report also states that this militant group has
connections and members in numerous countries, including Russia, Afghanistan,
Tajikistan, the Philippines, and Myanmar [Burma].
The report entitled "Military Balance 2005-06" states that military officers of
the Harkat-ul-Mojahedin, also known as Harkat-ul-Ansar, operate chiefly in the
Kashmir valley and that this unit has been categorized among "non-government
armed groups."
