A secret witness, a Muslim from Zvornik, referred
to only as "B-1461" -- told the Hague Tribunal that Muslim men were forced to
perform oral sex in on each other at a detention camp near Zvornik in eastern
Bosnia during the war.
The perpetrators of these horrific crimes belonged to a paramilitary group known
as the "Yellow Wasps", according to B-1461.
Referring to the atrocities B-1461 witnessed, President Milosevic said that they
were enough "to sicken any normal person".
President Milosevic informed the tribunal that the Serbian authorities had since
1993 put several former "Yellow Wasps" on trial for war crimes over the
atrocities they had committed in the Zvornik area. Thus illustrating the policy
of the Government of Serbia to discourage would-be war criminals by punishing
those who perpetrated war crimes.
President Milosevic also produced orders issued by the general staff of the JNA ordering the military and the police forces in Yugoslavia to disarm any paramilitary formations they came across.
