HAND GRENADE THROWN AT GYPSY HOUSE IN KOSOVO VILLAGE

Lipljan, 15 January: Unidentified perpetrators threw a hand grenade in the yard of an Ashkali in the village of Magura near Lipljan around 0200 (0100 gmt) last night. No-one was injured in the blast, the Kosovo police told the SRNA news agency today.

UNMIK (UN Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo) and the Kosovo police service carried out an on-the-spot investigation and are now carrying out a further investigation.

Considerable material damage was inflicted in the blast.
