ONE PERSON SERIOUSLY WOUNDED IN DRIVE-BY
SHOOTING IN KOSOVO

Kosovska Vitina, 22 February: Dragan Cokic, 29, was seriously wounded this
evening in Mogila near Kosovska Vitina when unknown perpetrators fired shots
from automatic weapons on a shop owned by Slobodan Nojkic.
Cokic was hit by two bullets in his chest and after being treated by paramedics
he was taken to a hospital in Vranje. Eye witnesses said that they noticed two
people in a grey Audi who stopped in front of the shop, fired shots and fled in
the direction of the Albanian part of Mogila.
The Kosovo police arrived on the scene soon after the drive-by shooting followed
by the Kfor NATO-led peacekeeping force in Kosovo members.
The investigation is under way.
