Milosevic poster "Heroes Never Die" appears in Bosnian Serb town

Banja Luka/Bijeljina/Doboj, 12 March: By lighting candles in central town squares, citizens of Banja Luka, Bijeljina and Doboj today paid their respects to Slobodan Milosevic who died in The Hague yesterday.

Despite the rain, wind and cold weather, around 50 candles were lit in Banja Luka's central square, flowers and one flower wreath have also been laid in the square.

Around 30 citizens today lit candles for Milosevic in the centre of Bijeljina.

Posters with Milosevic's photos saying "Heroes Never Die" and "We Also Love You" appeared in Bijeljina town centre this morning.

In central square in Doboj a group of citizens laid roses tied with a black ribbon saying: "To Serbian Hero Slobodan Milosevic".

Citizens of Doboj lit candles for Milosevic in the Central Doboj Church of St Apostles Peter and Paul.
