Kosovo Serb housing estate attacked with tear
gas

Pristina, 24 March: A temporary housing estate in Obilic small town in central
Kosovo, near Pristina , housing around 20 Serb families, was attacked with tear
gas bombs last night about 2200 2100 gmt .
Because of a strong concentration of tear gas, the Serb residents of the estate,
including 15 children, ran in panic away from a gas curtain which was enveloping
the site for longer than an hour.
An inspection of the site was performed by Kfor NATO-led Kosovo Force and UNMIK
UN interim administration in Kosovo police members at around midnight.
The school centre in Obilic was the target of two armed attacks in February.
