Islamic
"terrorist" preparing attacks on NATO force in Bosnia - analyst
SRNA - May 5, 2004
Banja Luka, 5 May: An expert on international law and terrorism, Darko
Trifunovic, says that Islamic terrorists, who do not have military but only
civilian camps in private houses and other facilities throughout Bosnia, "are
preparing terrorist attacks on Sfor NATO-led Stabilization Force forces in
Bosnia-Hercegovina, which is confirmed by the fact that Sfor is searching the
Federation for depots with various types of weapons and explosives".
Citing places where terrorists are present in Bosnia, Trifunovic told SRNA that
a backpack with a Koran, a plane ticket and a letter of guarantees for Egyptian
citizen Ahmad Khalid Muham were found in the village of Donji Jelavac near
Kozarska Dubica recently.
Citing experts on terrorism, Trifunovic said that the letter of guarantees
stated that Muham was "a tourist who has been in Bosnia-Hercegovina until 30
April 2004" and that it was not known whether he left the country.
Citing the same source, Trifunovic says that "a small group of Arabs are
terrorizing local Muslims near Sanski Most by forcing them to live strictly
according to Islamic customs".
"The village of Malaca near Brcko is a stronghold for Islamists in Bosnia-Hercegovina,"
he claims.
