KOSOVO: BOMBS THROWN AT SERB, ROMANY HOUSES

Pristina, 22 July: A hand grenade was thrown at the Romany settlement of Mostine in Lipljan (south of Pristina) at around 2300 (2100 gmt) last night. No-one was injured in the blast, but considerable material damage was inflicted on two homes, a SRNA correspondent from Kosovo-Metohija has reported. Another hand grenade was thrown at a house belonging to Serb villager Budimir Bajisa in Kosovska Vitina (southeast of Pristina) at around 2030 last night. This grenade did not go off.

A third bomb was found at the entrance to the Serb village of Livadje on the main road to Lipljan at around 2300 last night.

Kfor (Kosovo Force) and Kosovo police members destroyed the discovered bomb in a controlled explosion.
