Dragas, 2 October: A house was completely destroyed in the village of Gornje Rapse in the municipality of Dragas in southern Kosovo. The house belongs to the Dragas municipality coordinator, Zecir Zurapi.

"We are alive, and despite this attack we Goranci [Muslim Slavs] will stay in Dragas," Zurapi told SRNA.

There were no casualties in last night's explosion, which occurred around 2300 [2100 gmt], but further 10 houses were damaged.

Zurapi said that he noticed a white Golf stopping by the house. [Passage omitted]

Three people were in the Golf, and one of them got out and left an explosive device wrapped up in a black plastic bag on the doorstep. [Passage omitted: how the family escaped]

After the explosion, the Kosovo police came to the spot, launched an investigation and established that the Golf had escaped to Albania via a local road.
