ETHNIC ALBANIANS ATTACK KFOR MEMBERS IN WESTERN KOSOVO MUNICIPALITY

Srbica - A group of (ethnic) Albanians attacked a group of Kfor (Kosovo Force) members with batons and stones last night in the municipality of Srbica, SRNA has been told by Kfor. As SRNA has unofficially learnt, the attack came at about 2300 (2100 gmt) near Srbica, in the western part of Kosovo, with one Kfor member sustaining light injuries.

Also, it has unofficially been learnt that the group of Albanians was dispersed only when Kfor soldiers fired a warning shot.

Kfor announced that it will issue a statement after an investigation has been conducted.
