RADICAL
PARTY WANTS SERBIAN ASSEMBLY TO PASS NEW RESOLUTION ON
KOSOVO
Tanjug - February 9, 2004
Belgrade, 9 February: The Serbian Radical Party (SRS) parliamentary group in the
Serbian parliament on Monday (9 February) presented a suggestion that a (new)
resolution on Kosovo-Metohija
be adopted in an emergency procedure.
The parliamentary group demands that a diplomatic offensive be launched with the
aim of removing the danger of Kosovo-Metohija's
secession and that realistic conditions be created so that the expelled returned
to the region.
"Not a single representative of the state of Serbia, its bodies or organizations
is allowed to or can sign, or in any other way accept and agree to a formal or
actual direct or indirect secession of
Kosovo-Metohija from Serbia or
from the union of Serbia and Montenegro," says one of the articles of the
proposal.
