17:03 BELGRADE , March 1 (Tanjug) - Serbian Justice Minister Vladan Batic
on Monday assessed that the intervention by UNMIK Chief Harri Holkeri with
Hungary's authorities to release from custody commander of the Kosovo Protection
Corps Agim Ceku despite Interpol's arrest warrant is an abuse of office.
"You ignore the international conventions, opposing any jurisdiction of Serbia
in Kosovo and Metohija, which is most shocking, even at the time when there was
no UNMIK's civil administration in that part of the state territory, that is
before June 1999," said Batic in his letter to Holkeri.
