BRITISH KFOR TROOPS TO PULL OUT OF CENTRAL
KOSOVO, PRISTINA "SOON"
Tanjug - March 1, 2003
Kosovska Mitrovica, 1 March: The Kfor Kosovo Force Multinational Brigade
Northeast commander said that the British Kfor contingent, which is responsible
for central Kosovo-Metohija and the city of Pristina, would soon leave Kosovo
and hand over its responsibility to one of the northern European states, most
likely Finland.
The general, however, did not wish to say why British troops were leaving
Kosovo-Metohija, he just said that this was not his responsibility.
