Serbs form
Devet Jugovica sell property to ethnic Albanians
Tanjug - March 4, 2003
11:10 KOSOVSKA MITROVICA , March 4 (Tanjug) - Return coalition whip to
Kosovo parliament Dragisa Krstovic said on Tuesday that Kosovo Serbs from the
village of Devet Jugovica, near Pristina, were selling their property on a
massive basis to ethnic Albanians, and that there were hardly any chances to
stop them from doing that, since they "feel great pressure and see no prospects
for surviving in the village."
"I tried to convince the people to stay. However, it is evident that the ethnic
Albanians are buying the Serbs' property at a low price," Krstovic told the
Kosovska Mitrovica Kontakt Plus Radio.
