, Apr 9 (Tanjug) - President of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) Vojislav Kostunica said Wednesday that the arrest of Aca Tomic and Rade Bulatovic, who used to be his advisors while he was Yugoslavia's president, demonstrates that the fears he had expressed at the introduction of the state of emergency had been justified.

In a statement to the media, Kostunica underlined he is not questioning the need for fighting organized crime, which he himself had been advocating for years, adding that it is precisely this fight and the endeavors and the results achieved so far by the police which are being undermined in a way by abusing the state of emergency, as in the case in question.
