19:17 BONN , April 12 (Tanjug) - There is no other option for Kosovo but independence, Albanian Defense Minister Pandeli Majkio said in an interview to Radio Deutsche Welle on Monday, adding that any return to the former situation was impossible and inconceivable.

Belgrade's stand on the issue of Kosovo is very important for Albania, he said. Without a clear, public and internationally recognized statement that Serbia and Montenegro wants a peaceful, and only peaceful, resolving of the Kosovo issue, there can be no military cooperation between the two countries, which is now practically non-existent, he said.
