Coordinating Center urges Serbs not to join Kosovo Protection Corps

17:24 BELGRADE , May 4 (Tanjug) - The Coordinating Center for Kosovo-Metohija urged Saturday the Kosovo Serbs not to join the Kosovo Protection Corps or any of its training programs or other activities until its role is limited to that set out in the Constitutional Framework and the UN Security Council Resolution 1244.

The activities of the Corps have so far been directly contrary to the role given to it by the Constitutional Framework for interim self-government in Kosovo-Metohija, and the Corps evidently intends to become a Kosovo army, the Center said in a statement.
