Serbian deputy premier says Kosovo Protection Corps supports terrorists
Tanjug - May 15, 2003
18:38 VIENNA , May 15 (Tanjug) - Serbian Deputy Premier and head of the
Coordinating Center for Kosovo-Metohija Nebojsa Covic warned Thursday the OSCE
Permanent Council that the security situation in Kosovo could deteriorate due to
the activities of the Albanian National Army (ANA), which is completely
dependent on the Kosovo Protection Corps (KPC).
ANA is trying to obtain mines, explosives and weapons through the KPC, and its
training and intelligence activities constitute proof of preparations for acts
of terrorism, Covic said.
