Covic says return of Kosovo Serbs completely halted

17:06 BELGRADE , May 24 (Tanjug) - The programme of Serb return and all other programmes for Kosovo-Metohija have been completely halted and precious time is being wasted, head of the coordination centre for Kosovo-Metohija Nebojsa Covic said on Monday.

Commenting on topical problems in the province, Covic told a news conference that "we are witnessing shocking violations of human rights and religious freedoms in the heart of Europe," that the international community's policy was just aimed at biding time and that this was not useful for the Serbs and that once the few remaining Serbs moved out, international representatives would just say they were very sorry.
