Der Bild says German MoD investigates rumours of torture by German troops in Kosovo

19:56 BERLIN , May 26 (Tanjug) - In its Thursday edition, the German newspaper Der Bild said that the German Defence Ministry was investigating rumours that there were photos showing German KFOR troops carrying out torture in Kosovo and added that this newspaper did not have copies of these photos. A spokesman for the Defence Ministry told Tanjug on Wednesday that somebody had called the Ministry, claiming that their acquaintance had such photographs. The Defence Ministry is very thoroughly investigating these rumours, the spokesman said and added that there were presently no indications that such photos really existed.
