Serbs in Vitina,
Kosovo, ask help from Belgrade
Tanjug - May 30, 2003
19:38 BELGRADE - The remaining Serbs in Vitina, Kosovo, have asked the
Belgrade authorities to protect them from the constant acts of violence by
ethnic Albanian extremists, the Serbian Orthodox Church press service said
Friday.
Their appeal was addressed through the Kosovo-Metohija Serb National Council and
notes that the serious situation of Serbs in the province is persistently being
denied by the US KFOR contingent and UNMIK.
