SERBIAN OFFICIAL CALLS FOR RETURN OF TROOPS
AFTER OBILIC MURDERS
Tanjug - June 4, 2003
Obilic, June 4 (Tanjug) - Head of the Kosovo-Metohija
Coordination Centre Nebojsa Covic on Wednesday 4 June in Obilic strongly
denounced the latest violent crime committed against
Kosovo Serbs - murder of Slobodan and
Radmila Stolic (80) and their son Ljubinko (54), and demanded that UNMIK UN
Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo
officials clearly said whether they were capable of protecting the remaining
Serbs. Covic also demanded that a certain number of Serbian soldiers and
policemen returned to the province, so as to protect
Kosovo Serbs from everyday attacks and
terror of ethnic Albanian terrorists and extremists.
