Criminals occupy Albania

12:32 TIRANA , July 14 (Tanjug) - Drug traffic and prostitution in Albania bring almost four billion dollars to the mafia each year, and crime in the country has taken vigourous hold which represents a serious obstacle for Tirana on its road towards Brussels.

Criminal networks rule the country, they appoint who they want to the posts they want to, said Albanian opposition leader and former president, Sali Berisha.
