Last Russian military
convoy leaves Kosovo

20:05 BELGRADE , July 23 (Tanjug) - The last of the ten military trains
carrying equipment and 78 Russian troops who took part in the multinational
peacekeeping force in Kosovo (KFOR) on Wednesday left Leskovac, Serbia for the
place of their permanent deployment in Russia.
The withdrawal of the 650-strong Russian peacekeeping contingent started about a
month ago in keeping with a decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the
Itar-TASS news agency reported from Belgrade.
